National U18 and Pairs champion

Two national titles in two months: the Amateur Pairs at Montado, with Rodrigo Constantino, and the U18 at Aroeira, led from start to finish. In between, another Aquapor Circuit win. And a calendar opening outwards: Penina, Guadalmina, Saint-Cloud, Slieve Russell with the national team, Prestbury — where she stood fifth at one point in the English Girls' Open — and Málaga.

She won the Drive Tour at the Tejo, was runner-up in the FPG Cup at Santo Estêvão, and ended the year third in Asturias, at the Memorial Celia Barquín.

The year she won everything there was to win

In January she played the Portuguese International Amateur and, in February, two events on the Portuguese professional tour — Penina and Quinta do Peru — at fourteen. She won the first two Aquapor Circuit tournaments and ended the season top of the women's “Gold” ranking. On the Drive Tour she won two of the four events she played and was runner-up in the other two. In the summer she went to Finland — fifth at the International Junior Championship, the furthest north she has played — and to Slovakia, where she shot 72 at the European Young Masters, her best round in national-team colours. Over the summer she went top of the BPI national amateur ranking, and finished the year second, behind Inês Belchior. She was national U16 runner-up, at Tróia. And she closed the year winning the GJG Algarve Juniors International, in Castro Marim, ahead of the whole women's field and of the U18 category — with the only sub-par round of the week.

Vale de Janelas, and a major venue

She moved to Vale de Janelas — Praia D’El Rey and West Cliffs — and won the club championship straight away, the first of four. In September she went to Évian with the mixed U14 team to play the course of the French women’s major: eight strokes better on the last round than the first. She ended the year as national U14 runner-up.

Two national titles and a first call-up

Still for Quinta do Peru. The title came at the Drive Tour Grand Final, at Montado, with 168 strokes and top of the age-group ranking. In June she had already won the national 3rd Category title, at Aroeira, with the best score of the whole championship. In July she made her national-team debut at the Semana de Oro Joven, in Vigo — and came home second in the girls’ U14 gross.

She won, and there was no title

At the National Youth Championship, split between Estela and Miramar, she won the girls' U12 — but no title was awarded, because the field fell short of the minimum the rules require. It was the year the calendar shrank for everyone.
